Yet another annoying saying from childhood

"Turn that frown upside down"

In anything you do or see, there are two sides to it.

While I'm not blind to the challenging things that go on in the world, I choose to focus on the positive side. I don't define myself as an exceptionally perky person, but I just find it easier to seek the good in everything I do.

I firmly believe that there is a positive side (or a ^blessing^ if you will) in each and every negative thing we experience.

It is SO much easier to just process the bad news. Bad news is around us 24/7 in the news, on the radio and mostly in the conversations we have with others. Honestly, it is simpler just to agree and be compliant and accept the bad news that everyone focuses so heavily on.

You ((really)) have to dig through the bad news garbage to find the goodness within it and see how it can be translated into something meaningful and positive. It's a challenge especially during these trying times, where everyday bad news can leave us feeling insecure and afraid, it is important that we don't lose sight of our positive possibilities.

Norman Vincent Peale once said,  "Become a 'possibilitarian'. No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see the possibilities - Always see them, for they are always there."

Sometimes we just need to hear GOOD NEWS and be elevated long enough to know that everything will be just fine.

So let's accumulate positive stories, motivational thoughts, inspirational stories and eye spy stories to remind us all that great things are going on around us every day.
